Demand needs storage

Storage is central to the universal use of renewable energy. Hydrogen plays an important role in this. However, hydrogen cannot be stored as easily as other gases. For the energy needs of small and medium-sized businesses, only storage in stationary pressure vessels and transport in trailers are currently feasible. Pressure vessels are very long-term capital goods and therefore fit very well with a regenerative circular economy.

Other longer-term storage options are currently being tested and are unfortunately not yet ready for the market. CoopGo.consulting observes these trials very closely and, where possible, also promotes the development towards market maturity if this can increase the efficiency of the storage.

For the pressure vessels, we rely on the expertise of Vako, which sets special standards in terms of continuous operation and durability, especially with the revision option during operation.
