en-solution® reduces transportation costs
Own electric power helps to save costs
Transport with electric lorries is more efficient than with conventional diesel vehicles. Combustion engines will only convert around 1/3 of the energy contained in diesel into motion, whereas the electric motor converts almost 100% into kinetic energy.
Even the economic efficiency is also unbeatable. If you generate and store the energy yourself in a green way, you can reduce the costs to around 5ct per kWh. This would correspond to a price of 45ct per litre of diesel. Due to the higher physical efficiency, the drive costs per kilometre can be reduced by 50% compared to diesel at current market prices for electricity and by up to 80% if you generate your own energy. With rising diesel prices due to the CO2 tax, the differences will become even more extreme in the future. And in Germany, e-trucks are exempt from tolls; in Austria, for example, the toll rate is reduced to 1/4 compared to the cheapest combustion engines.
- But how do you generate sufficient quantities of energy by yourself? By implementing local en-solution logistics projects.
- How does this help the logistics sector in long-distance transport? Through the networking of many local en-solution® logistics projects in Europe
Power of Logistics
With en-solution®, CoopGo.consulting is participating in the ‘Power of Logistics’ initiative of the logistics property group of the Bundesvereinigung Logistik eV (BVL).

Economic Experts ask to Focus on E-trucks and Charging Infrastructure
German and french experts are in agreement
Hydrogen and synthetic fuels, such as HVO100, are not an alternative to battery-electric drives for lorries and Europe-wide charging infrastructure.
